This is THE main priority if you are just starting out since it increases the amount of KP you get, and you don’t need to keep porting back and forth to sell off fish due to full fish capacity. It also increases the amount of KP your earn by selling fish once it gets high enough level. Once the capacity is full, you can’t fish anymore and have to empty your cooler box first. There are 4 fishing compartment you can upgrade: cooler box, hook, reel and floats.Ĭooler box increase your fish capacity. It is best to upgrade to that stage first. *Update: some lake lords and rare fish needs smooth reel IV to reliably fish out. Recommended stage are Smooth reel IV and rubber float I then you can invest your FP on high quality baits. For KP, upgrade both reel and floats simultaneously. TL DR upgrade path: for fish stones, iron cooler > dimensional hook (you can start fishing lake lords now) > max out hook level > max out cooler. You will need around 1190 fish stones and 64400 fish points to upgrade your gear and farm Lake Lords to summon Leviathan. You get FS by catching 1, 30, 70 and 150 respectively, totalling 20 FS per fish. Fish stones are used to upgrade your cooler box and hooks. You can also earn chronos stones and fish stones by completing achievements once you reach certain milestones, such as obtaining 30 specific species of fish. Kamasu points can be used to purchase more powerful baits and upgrade your reel and floats. You earn fish point by selling your hard earned fish to fish vendor at Kaira beach. You earn 10 chronos stones for catching XL fish of a specific for the first time.ġ.2 Kamasu point (KP), fish stones (FS), baits/lures and upgrades Sometimes you can catch XL size fish, this gives you bonus XP and they sell for more FP. Once you fill up your cooler box with fresh fish, or you fished out everything from the spot (each spot has 20 fish and takes 30 minutes to reset) go back and talk to the old man to sell your fish for fish points, or move to another spot and continue the routine. You unlock fishing by completing the very first quest of 1.3.0 side story “1000 year ark of the ocean palace”.
